Haiku Revue is a collection of one page autobiographical ”haiku poem comics” that I have made from 2011 – 2012. There’s at least one haiku from every month for a year, and each one is different. The goal and purpose of this project was to stretch and broaden my skills, so each comic is made with a different technique or medium. Some are markers, some are pencils, some I wrote first, some I drew first and some have no words at all.
This book was a wonderful tool and learning experience, teaching me to explore drawing techniques and refine the writing and picture relationship in my work.
