A friend of mine runs a local self-publishing company called Back to Print and last month came out with a wonderful zine collection of stories about FAMILY.  I was asked to do a few illustrations to accompany the stories!

This is one of the drawings inspired by a story of a dad who started feeding wild animals in the back yard.

Im pretty proud; it was the first time i was able to draw BIRDS!

A few years ago (two?)  i went to a Dr. Sketchy event in Grand Rapids that was featuring the Grand Raggidy Roller Girls as the models, and last night i went to Dr. Sketchy here in White River that featured the Upper Valley Vixens as models

OK so… here’s last nights – 2012:

Upon review, i’ve concluded two things are true:

1.  That I can’t draw live models

2.  I think my drawing skills have DEcreased

In my defense last night’s were only five minutes each…

We had the first really nice spring rainfall today and i loved it – i sat by the window with Winston and appreciated every minute of it :)

I have also (unfortuneatly) started watching Boys Over Flowers again…. I CAN”T HELP IT I NEED IT
